Karen's Story

Karen remembers as a young child hearing sounds from downstairs whilst everyone was asleep in bed, seeing faces appearing out of the wall in her bedroom and not sleeping very well.  At this time Karen was told this was all 'down to my imagination' - she now understands these were the first signs of her spirit communications. During her teenage years, Karen was given a set of tarot cards as a Christmas present.  Not realising exactly what they involved, she enjoyed playing with them and letting her friends know what they meant.  As time when on she discovered that the words 'would just flow'. Karen also remembers hearing voices in her head - this became more scary so she decided to put them away. After the passing of her dad in April 2002, Karen decided to visit a psychic fair to see if it would be possible for someone to contact him.  This proved to be successful, so she decided 'why should I pay someone else to talk to him?  why can't I do this myself?'  This set her on her spiritual investigation pathway, and since then she has never looked back.

Ongoing Training

Karen is more than aware that she needs to develop her skills she has gained in past experience much more to be able to give the amount of evidence and proof of life after death as much as she would really like to.  For this reason, she still attends one day workshops at Tony Stockwell's Psychic Studio and with Spirit Lights the Way, including weekend courses at Stansted Hall (SNU), on the Avalon Project (Tony Stockwell) and with Spirit Lights the Way.

She is also attending a day course in numerology and a weekend assessment of her mediumship demonstration skills for the SNU in December.

Her fortnightly private Physical Circle for her trance and physical development is ongoing.

Her continuous investigations for mediumship to work alongside scientific explanations for the unexplained, means that she is constantly learning more and more from her paranormal investigations and other work.

Karen has started to write a book about all aspects of the paranormal, mediumship and psychic work and our understanding of God and the spirit world.  She has been interviewing a number of professionals from various walks of life to gain a great insight into the beliefs and thoughts of many.
The book is to raise money for two charities she wishes to support.

She learns more and more each time she gives somebody a reading, either privately or from a platform, and this, she hopes, will never end..........
