Karen joined the GRFI (Ghost Research Foundation International) over 4 years ago and with them experienced her first paranormal investigations. With this experience she became more and more interested in working alongside paranormal researchers to proove the survival of life after death in a more modern and scientific way. Following a change within the GRFI Karen left the group, but was always on the lookout for another to join.

During a charity paranormal event at Michelham Priory, Karen met a couple of members from SPiRIT (Sussex Paranormal Research and Investigation Team) and decided to join in their research. Karen has now worked as one of their mediums for over a year and continued to do so for a couple of years, when she bit the bullet and started her own group - GHOST  (click to visit the website)

A couple of years ago Karen was also approached by PIGS (Paranormal Investigation Group Sussex) to help them out as they didn't have a medium. This was a group of ex-policemen who had experienced a couple of strange phenomena and taken a few odd photos. After an investigation at a private house in Surrey, they asked Karen to join as a proper member. Karen worked with them for over a year assisting in putting together mediumship reports to assist with pre-investigation data, as well as running glass moving experiments and seances during the evening of the investigation. 

Karen has now set up her own group GHOST who are gradually building to become a very well planned and thought out investigative team.  You can read GHOST reports both within Karen's own reports here on the site, and at the GHOST website.

Karen has also discovered the importance of people gaining their own experiences. There is nothing as good for proof of continuous existence than your own personal experience and realisation. Through paranormal investigation Karen has seen complete sceptics turn into confused believers! To sit and see lights, hear noises, to gain communication through raps and taps from an unseen force can often give compelling evidence that there is something more to our life. People are often excited when they recieve their own communication from a loved one through a glass moving experiment or have an experience of tables moving across the floor. With this in mind, Karen wishes to take this work to as many people as possible. As she says ' there are many people who would quite willingly join an investigation for a night who wouldn't visit a medium for a reading, attend a Spiritualist church, or attend an evening of clairvoyance. Overnight investigations not only is exciting and fun, but gives people their own true experiences to take away with them.'

Dark Night Encounters(click to visit the site) a truely informative and jam packed evening. Following a thorough briefing and detailing about the venue, Dark Night Encounters provide you with all the equipment you will require and a talk about how to use it, you will get to try out psychic work in a short workshop, before being let loose on the ghosts! In teams a proper thorough investigation is carried out with full reporting. You will be given as much instruction as you require. Following the nights acitivities you are able to keep any footage you might have gathered on any of your own equipment, will will be presented with a personalised certificate, and you will also be sent a full report of the nights findings and short video of the photographs and the paranormal events which were experienced, as a great reminder of your time with Dark Night Encounters.
